QA Engineer/Tester
We’re looking for an experienced QA engineer who is passionate about software quality. If you’re tenacious about tracking down and documenting bugs and won’t give up until every feature has been thoroughly tested, then we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Work to ensure that every release of our website is rock solid
- Develop and execute test plans to perform all aspects of quality assurance, including functional, regression, and system testing
- Provide a single point of contact for all bug reporting and tracking
- Leadership role in designing and improving our QA process
- Assist in the creation of release notes and feature documentation
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of QA/testing experience
- Passion for testing and the ability to work independently on diverse problems
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Driven to meet aggressive milestones
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- Past experience in the medical field a big plus
- Barista experience a double plus

Community Development Manager

Mission:
This position is responsible for providing customer liaison, administration, support, guidance and training services to Syndicom’s clients implementing and managing Syndicom Group and Community solutions. In addition, this role will be responsible for providing input to Syndicom’s Product Development group related to user requirements and client administrative requirements. The position will assist in product development QA validation and testing.
The Community Development Manager will support the development of Syndicom Group and Community solutions and manage the formation process and on-going initiatives—from conception to delivery. This position will be responsible for establishing community roles, profiles, notification, and forms, as well as driving community formation, development, training, enrollment, case seeding, and growing use. The role will define community configurations, and work closely with product development, our executive team, engineering, sales, marketing and professional services to ensure revenue, user and customer value delivery goals are met.
Responsibilities:
- Assists clients in the development, configuration, management, administration and implementation of Syndicom Group and Community solutions
- Collaborate with clients and Syndicom Product Management to discover, develop specifications, and test
- Provide system administration for assigned communities and groups
- Partner with Product Development to continually assess and improve Syndicom products and processes
- Manage project resources, schedules, tools and deliverables to profitably ensure customer satisfaction
- Participate, as requested in the preparation and attendance at industry trade conferences and events
- Provide training and support to clients as well as on-site services
Contacts:
Surgeons, medical device company sales and support staff, private practice research and trial coordinators; Syndicom software, product, and professional services teams.
Travel:
Up to 15% (conferences, training, consulting engagements)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years experience as a domain expert providing client support and guidance. Excellent project and process management skills, communications skills, reporting and metrics development; technical expertise in web-based tools and software.
Salary:
Negotiable, depending on experience
