A ProductEdge™ group is a web-based collaborative knowledge network that directly connects medical device companies with surgeons to accelerate product adoption, increase product use, and produce better surgical outcomes. ProductEdge™ builds on the success of Syndicom’s collaborative community platform—with surgeon members from institutions such as UCLA, the Rothman Institute, Cleveland Clinic, William Beaumont Hospital and many others—to create a powerful edge for medical device companies.
How does it work?
A ProductEdge™ group is integrated into your education and training programs, helping to educate and make new surgeons comfortable using your product. Using a secure online private community, consulting surgeons or proctors share teaching cases, offer tips and pearls for difficult or unusual cases, and provide feedback and support to surgeons new to your product. New surgeons submit their cases for comment by experienced surgeons and proctors, helping them to select appropriate cases and raising their comfort level with the procedure.
Over time, member surgeons create a database of best practice cases, experiences, and outcomes using your device and procedure. All the while, you can observe this activity in real-time.
